We hold Dispersal Auctions on a sporadic basis when for example the owner of a business is retiring, a factory relocating, a garden centre closing down etc. One of our very first successful Dispersal Auctions was the sale held at Hill Court, Ross-on-Wye on the closing down of The Hill Court Garden Centre. Another was the disposal of the contents of Wilton Castle after we had agreed a sale of the Castle itself. Unlike our regular Antique & Chattel sales, Dispersal Sales will sometimes/normally be catalogued. Our last major Auction Sale offering was the Joe Powell Collection at Ashton Keynes, Swindon on Friday 25th June 2010. The Joe Powell Auction was an eclectic collection of a rural Engineering Business, including 2 1919 Garrett Traction Engines, Lord & Lady Raglan, together with an array of portable engines, Series 1 Landrover, Lister Generator Plants, Miscellaneous Machine Shop and Engineering items and general memorabilia Advertising Signs and Models. If you wish to discuss a possible Dispersal Auction, please contact Nigel Morris on 01989 768320
